What are DVD players with a screen called?

I've seen these dvd players with a screen attatched. They aren't the little portable ones because they are the size of a regular tv screen, except they ONLY place dvd's. Does anyone know what these are called or where I can find them?

I think what you are looking is TV combo. It can be a TV with DVD player or TV with Video Cassette Player (VCP); ie, TV/DVD combo and TV/VCR combo.

Samsung used to have a lot of such stuff, with CRT TVs.

That TV is not compatible with obsolete DVD/VHS combo box's. Modern HDTV's do not have the yellow composite input which is what that device expects.

You have plugged the composite output into the green jack of the Component input on the TV. These are different. This is why you are only getting black-and-white.
