Xbox 360 Jasper or Valhalla?

I am considering buying the xbox 360 that comes with Modern Warfare 2 and the 250 gb hard drive. I've heard that these are identical to the elites in terms of the Jasper chipsets. I also heard about the Valhalla chipsets that are supposed to run much cooler. Should I just wait until this starts showing up in stores? At the moment I have an older xbox 360 that I bought 2 years ago and I think its a zephyr model it does the job of playing games despite getting very hot and choppy when I play games for long periods of times. So its not like I absolutely need it right now but I WOULD like to upgrade for the controllers, 250 gb hard drive, and reduced console heat. If I got this I would install the games I play regularly to the hard drive and also buy the intercooler TS (This would drop almost all system heat by alot. I have an intercooler on my current xbox and it cuts the heat in half so I think the new console would be more than adequately cooled). What do people think I should do? wait for however long to get the newer valhalla chipset or spring and get the modern warfare 2 console?
Will the Modern Warfare 2 console still be out at christmas??? I don't know if anyone has seen the new intercoolers but they snap on the back and are powered by a seperate AC adapter no longer leeching the power from 360

Since the Xbox 360 MW2 edition is a limited edition roll out nobody knows if it will be available on christmas.

Pre-ordered this bundle back in September, was worried at first about the release date shipping. This is my first release date purchase through Amazon. Received it at 10 am on release date...awesome. Now that we have that out of the way. This bundle is a great deal for first time Xbox users/purchasers. Comes with 2 controllers, this is great for a family purchase....no more children fighting over taking turns until you get to the store to purchase another controller. The 250 GB harddrive is great. I currently own 2 other 360's(one is mine, the other purchased for my wife) both 20gb. With all of the music, movies, and DLC I have had to constantly delete stuff that I have paid for just to make room for new games. This led me to purchase the 250GB harddrive, after transferring everything over I still have TONS of room to install all of my most played games. (For those of you new to 360's...this helps the games run smoother with less load times and it keeps the noise level down on the system). If you are a fan of the COD franchise or even new this 360 is great! The black 360 with the custom MW2 theme looks great. I have always thought about painting my other 360 black to make it look better in my entertainment center...black 58" tv, black surround sound system, black cable box, black modem, and lastly a black PS3. A White xbox stands out quite a bit amongst all of this equipment. I would highly recommend this purchase to people just starting out with the new gaming system or even hardcore 360 players who are just looking to expand the experience. I know this review is getting extensive but im just trying to cover everything....now on to the MW2 game. SIMPLY AMAZING! Looks great, sounds great, plays great. I have been into the COD franchise for quite a while, have been religiously playing COD 4 MW for over 2 years now and can see myself playing this one for another 2 as well. first i got an iPhone 4 n i got Xbox 360 but old 1 but there is something wrong with it while connecting to the internet n the rifle is for hunting n the TV is Sony 40inch n LED 3D n it comes with PS3 n 1 Gran turismo game 3D n 4 3D movies n 4 3D glasses n 1 demo CD n the PS3 is 320 GB. so the i pad will cost in my country 905.33 $ n the Xbox 360 slim with kinect is 457.84 $ n the hunting rifle the Chinese is 38.80 $ n Spanish is 323.33 $ n German is 517.33$ n the TV coasts 1810.66 $. p.s i can buy 2 items but maybe there will be an exception that i can buy 3 .

I would personally get the TV as a good TV is the most important thing to me out of those things. If you have an iPhone 4 then an iPad is just a giant version and unless you love playing games on it you won't get much out of the iPad. If you get the TV bundle with the PS3 you won't really need the 360 to go online so you could play 360 offline (or try to get it fixed for much cheaper) and play online games for PS3? Only get Kinect if you have a 8ft (minimum) long and tidy/clear room or it will just give you a headache. When it works however it is a very good piece of kit and I would recommend it. I know nothing about rifles so I can't help you there. Sorry.
