How to connect Wii to VIZIO LED TV?

jose3872@s

Answer
Make sure the red white and yellow plugs are in their proper spots on the TV and Wii, set up the sensor bar just above or below your TV (Which ever you prefer) and make sure it's plugged into the Wii. Plug the Wii into an electrical outlet and you should be set.

Just to clairify: The red white and yellow ends should go into the TV, and the other end into the Wii.

I have multiple vertical lines on my Samsung led tv. What might be causing this? Easy fix?

Answer
Can't tell you exactly what's causing the lines to appear on the screen, but I can't tell you whether the defect is in the tv or not. If your tv was manufactured in 2009 or later, you can do a picture test/self diagnostic on the tv. If the lines appear on the picture test, the problem is with the tv and it will require service Also if you have more than one external device connected to the tv, switch the source/input to that of the external device. If the lines appear on that second source, the tvv requires service. Instructions for how to do a picture test are as follows:

1. On the Samsung tv's remote, press the menu button
2. Continue pressing the down arrow button until "Support" or a question mark in a bubble is highlighted and press "enter"
3. Go to "Self Diagnostic"
4. Go to picture test.

Once again, if the lines appear on the picture test and/or on a different source, the tv will require service. You can 1-800-726-7864. If the line doesn't appear on more than one source and it doesn't appear on the picture test, the problem is coming from whatever device you have connected to it. You may want to try using a different set of cables to connect that device to the tv or call the manufacturer of that device.

Green vertical lines on tv?

Jon Vo

I have a COBY 23" TFT LED TV and just this morning it randomly started having green lines that cover the entire tv. After a little it fades away and comes back. PLEASE HELP IDK WHAT TO DO!

Answer
Live with it or go buy a new TV, a proper name brand one.

Coby TVs are junk not worth darkening the door of a TV repair place.
