Is an LED tv worth $500 dollars more then an identical LCD?

RAP SUCKS

We are either gonna get the Samsung 46" LCD 1080p 240Hz for around $1,600.
OR:
Samsung 46" LED 1080p 240Hz for around $2,100?
Is it worth it?
Which will last longer, LCD or LED?

Thanks

Answer
1 ) LED ( LCD display use LED as back-light ) is improvement and RE-FINE of LCD display.
LED TV is better in color reproduction , better dark color display.that LCD display will never reach such quality. LED TV also easy to " cover / hide " away the motion blur.
total pictures quality is always much better than any LCD TV. LED TV use 40 % less power consumptions than LCD TV.
2 ) LCD display " Life Time " is 60,000 hours. basically LED TV is LCD based , Technically is should be same life time as 60,000 hours , however LED TV on the market is less than a year.still early to said any things about the total life time as this moment ,unlikely LCD TV is proofed for that. some very first generation LCD TV is still work well after 13 years. LED TV ( LED display panel ) should be reliable to too ! but no evidence yet.
3 ) if you are looking into Pictures Quality , LED TV - Samsung 46 Inc 1080P / 240 HZ is WORTH for that ,non of LCD TV able to reach such pictures quality . Samsung is leading in LED TV technologies , Samsung LED TV taken 92 % market share ( total LED TV quantity sold worldwide ).
OPTION.
for 46 inc and above big screen. Panasonic new Plasma TV is VALUE for money.
great pictures quality . 0 Response time / 600 HZ , well-suited for sports movies / programs. with out burn in issue . life time is 60,000 hours. ( Z series is up to 1000,000 hours ). technically is better than LED TV in total pictures quality .but paid less in $ !

Any LED TV about 22 inches?

i17nardy

I was going to purchase a vizio LCD TV 22 inch full HD about 500 dollars... but then I heard about this LED technology, is there any about 22 inches, dont care about the company and price. just need one that I can use for my PC, and Xbox 360...

(Is it worth getting a LED TV, and does it make a difference if its 6000, 7000 or the 8000 series if I just need good graphics, colors frames/sec?)

Answer
There are no LED LCDs below 40". The primary reason being that it would make for like a $1000 22" TV. Its just far too expensive a technology right now. In the long run it maybe become the LCD standard, and thus cheap, but for right now, its something you have to pay a huge price premium for. As such, you only find it in larger sets.

$500 for a 22" set seems overpriced to be honest. For $550 you should get a top notch 32" set. Something like a Panasonic TC-L32X1, Samsung LN32B450, or Sony KDL-32L5000.

You don't really see the advantages of 1080p in a TV of 37" or smaller. 1080p is more of an issue as you break into 40" and moreso into 50".

But as you want to use this as a computer monitor as well, I can see the possible higher expense. I would want something with DVI input, whereas a true TV will typically only have VGA at best. But I don't know about $500 for a 22" Vizio. You could get a premiere quality Dell for that price.

Dell has an amazing 23" widescreen monitor. It can do above HD resolutions. It has a color gamut of like 92% (really good). And regular price is under $500. Its the Dell SP2309W, I would recommend that highly over a Vizio. And it is a true 16:9 aspect ratio (a lot of computer monitors are actually 16:10).

The 6000, 7000, 8000 series from Samsung are all LED LCD. Again the minimum size is 40". And the prices are well north of $500. The variations between those lines isn't huge. As you go up in numbers you get some multimedia features and some better contrast results, but more often than not the 6,000 is going to have enough juice for a buyer.

What is the use of pyrogallic acid and KOH to stimulate anaerobic conditions?

Answer
Lancenigo di Villorba (TV), Italy

Well, the aim about the chemical mixture you cited owes to PYROGALLIC ACID.
Alkaline solutions of Pyrogallic Acid are chemicals which react promplty against all chemical oxidizers like Air's Oxygen is.
So, Pyrogallate Salts forms aqueous solutions which soaks up Oxygen

.....H-C=C-OH
........./........\
2 H-C........C-OH(aq) + O2(g) --->
.........\\......//
......H-C--C-OK

.............H-C--C=O
................//.......\
---> 2 H-C........C=O(aq) + H2O(aq)
................\......../
.............H-C=C-OK

; once Oxygen disappeared, Cellular Anaerobic Breath may begin.

§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§

CHEMISTRY
PYROGALLIC ACID belongs to isomers of TRY-HYDROXY-BENZENE.
Well, IT RESULTS THE ONLY ISOMER HAVING SYMMETRICAL STRUCTURE.
By so, chemically speaking, this symmetrical structure allows easy and fast Hydrogen Radicalic Loosening or Fast Reaction once it meet Chemical Oxidizers.
Well, PYROGALLIC ACID deserves an acidic power so it can loose Hydrogen Ions by Acid/Base Reactions led against Strong Base as KOH is

...H-C=C-OH
....../........\
H-C........C-OH(aq) + KOH(aq) --->
......\\......//
...H-C--C-OH

..........H-C=C-OK
............./........\
---> H-C........C-OH(aq) + H2O(aq)
.............\\......//
..........H-C--C-OH

Now, you have to know that PYROGALLATE SALTs formed by Strong Bases are very ready chemicals to soak up Oxygen.

ETHYMOLOGY
Really, its name came later a swedish pharmacist discovered it in half of XVIII century : I am speaking about K. W. SCHEELE which rescued Pyrogallic Acid.
Indeed, Scheele boiled Oak's Vesicles in Potash Bath and it rescued an acidic stuff which he named GALLIC ACID (e.g. GALLUS is Latin word meaning Oak's Vesicles). Scheele warmed Gallic Acid in dry-sand bath where it rescued PYROGALLIC ACID :

HO-C=C-OH
....../........\
H-C........C-OH(s) -->[HEAT]-->
......\\......//
...H-C--C-COOH

.......HO-C=C-OH
............./........\
--->..H-C........C-OH(s) + CO2(g)
.............\\......//
..........H-C--C-H

PYRO is an ancient greek term meaning "fire" as Scheele harshly did to obtain it.

I hope this helps you.

how do you take pictures with your web cam on the hp pavillion dv9000?

John

i did all that but it still wont work, should i install it?

Answer
Yes, you can use the WebCam through QuickPlay

To access QuickPlay, just press the "blue QuickPlay button" next to the power button. If it doesn't load QuickPlay, just do "Start" - "All Programs" - then you will see QuickPlay listed there. If you still can't find it just do a search, you will find the short-cut.

Once launched QuickPlay, click on the 2nd icon from left (between DVD and TV icon), then double-click on "HP Pavilion WebCam" from the left side panel, then you will see the blue LED light lit and you should see yourself on the screen. (Double-click "yourself" to enlarge image)

To take a picture or record video, just press the corresponding buttons on the top. (the red circle icon is for recording video (press "Stop" icon to stop recording), the camera icon is for, well, camera)
Videos and pictures are saved at:

Videos -- C:\Users\Public\Videos\HP Webcam

How to speed up iTunes from 5min load times?

led tv 92

hah2001

It literally takes 5 minutes to load, honestly. I turned off Genius as a tip, but not sure if that will do it. Any other suggestions?

Answer
See this video if you are lazy to read all
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrnjG0DIiEs

Disable Unused Services
Apple assumes you own an iPod, Apple TV, iPhone, and other Apple products. So there are services that are enabled by default to find them. If you donât have the devices, letâs start by disabling them. Open iTunes and go to Edit \ Preferences.

Then click the devices tab and uncheck Look for remote speakers connected with AirTunes and Look for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad Remotes.

If you donât have an Apple TV or donât want it to check for it during startup uncheck Look for Apple TVs.

If youâre running iTunes on a stand alone machine another thing you might want to do is go to the Sharing tab and uncheck Look for shared libraries.

Delete Smart Playlists
If youâre really serious about making iTunes load and run faster, then disable Smart Playlists. Some users love this feature an canât live without it. But if you want to make iTunes load almost instantly, delete them. You can still create your own playlists and it doesnât slow down performance as much as the Smart Playlists.

When deleting a playlist, youâll get a message asking if youâre sure. Check Do not ask me again and continue deleting the default playlists.

Disable Genius
If you havenât turned Genius on, then donât. If you have it enabled then turn it off. While itâs enabled youâll notice that itâs doing a lot of things in the background, taking up resources.

Turn off Cover Flow
While the Cover Flow feature offers some cool âeye candyâ, it can run slow, especially on older systems. The other problem with it is you have to flip through album by album and that can be inconvenient.

Instead of using Cover Flow, use the standard browser view which is a very quick way to find the collections of certain artists youâre looking for.

Get Rid of Duplicate Files
If you have a huge music collection, chances are there are duplicates of the same song. To find and delete them click on File \ Display Duplicates.

You might want to use this judicially though, as in this example we have the same songs in the Led Zeppelin collection, but they are from the original album and a âbest ofâ. So you might not want to delete them from the different albums.

There are also third party software applications out there that will eliminate duplicate music files such as Audio DeDupe.

Make Navigating the Library Easier
To help you navigate through your library more quickly, get rid of columns you donât care about. Right-click the Column Bar and uncheck the ones you donât need.

Alternately you can go to View \ View Optionsâ¦

Then uncheck the columns you donât want showing up then click OK.

Stop Annoying Messages
Another easy tip is when youâre setting up iTunes or running different features for the first time, it might pop up messages the you donât need to see again. When they appear, check Do not show this message again. This will save some time by not having to click through the messages every time.

Make the Text Larger for Easier Reading
If youâre on a netbook or notebook with a smaller screen, you can make the text larger so you can see everything easier. Go to Edit \ Preferencesâ¦

Then under the General tab change Source and List Text to Large.
It makes a big improvement if youâre on a small screen or just have a hard time seeing it with the smaller default font size.

Use Folders to Organize Playlists
Sometimes it can be easier to put a bunch of albums in a folder to get to them. Click on File \ New Playlist Folder. Give it a name and hit enter.

In this example we made a folder called Hard Rock. Then drag your playlist to itâ¦very simple, but can make finding the right genre of music you want to listen to easier.

I have a HP mini laptop and I want to take pictures with it. I only have the option to do webchats and I can't save them or pictures. Where can I download a free program that I can take pictures and save them, kinda like Mac Photo Booth.

Answer
Your HP should come with a photo program as part of the software package that came with it.

Do you have QuickPlay installed on it?

Try this:

To access QuickPlay, just press the "blue QuickPlay button" next to the power button. If it doesn't load QuickPlay, just do "Start" - "All Programs" - then you will see QuickPlay listed there. If you still can't find it just do a search, you will find the short-cut.
