Why did the Syrian Civil war start. What is each side starting for? Please be brief, I simply want a basic understanding of what's going on, then I will do extensive research on my own.

Answer
George Soros decided to start another colored revolution, he in cooperation with the US State Department recruited some so called activists and provided training, electronic equipments, and money to them. These activists launched a campaign against the popular Syrian president and got little support, then Islamists joined them and with billions of Dollars paid from Qatar and Saudi Arabia under cover of the US/UK, it was easy for them to recruit poor and disadvantaged peasants into their armed militias, then the war broke out as you see in news TV. This is not an uprising, this is a U.S led act of aggression against a sovereign state aiming at destroying its national unity, economy, and military in order to get its citizens kneel before the Israeli/American invaders of the Middle East

daboy

il re-phrase my question.Id like to bring home an LED tv 40" from Qatar to Philippines,id like to knw if i will be hold for tax payment or will i be excuse of oaying tax because im an OFW to bring an electronic like this. This is for all OFW to be cleared about bringing home an electronic such as LED tv 40" or 32".
for the sake of O.F.W. so, sony-LED tv 40" is very excempted in tax as handcarry?can anyone give us a proof to show at customs that we OFW are excempted of tax with this kind of electronic?

Answer
You may bring it back on the airplane with you and TV will be tax exempt. My wife and I live in the Philippines during the winters months back home in the states. I have brought electronics for our Manila condo and have NEVER subject to import tax. See ruling below

Sec 105 of Tariff Code, sub paragrah F and F1 allows Balikbayan returning
Filipino's to bring one like item into the country and pay no import tax.

Update - As far as I know Sec 105 of Tariff Code only covered what is shipped via aircraft.. If you ship electronics via Balikbayan box, you are subject to import tax

Where were you on September 11, 2001?

Alexandra

I'm 13 years old, so I was only 3 on 9/11. I don't remember anything I did on that day, since I was so young. As I got older, I started understanding more about what had happened. I think it is unbelievable. I also think it is very interesting. So I'm asking you, where were you on September 11, 2001? When and how did you receive the news? Never Forget what happened. <3

Answer
I was working in an Air Force medical squadron. My boss was on his way out the door when I got word we were under attack (after the second tower got hit). He stood there with mouth open and turned white as a sheet. We went into Threat Con Delta (highest terror threat alert) immediately. The gates were locked and all cars were moved away from the buildings. Many area nurses who were either retired or on vacation called in to offer help. I referred them to the Red Cross. Many of the troops who were off that day showed up immediately. One troop was vacationing in NYC and went immediately to the Triage Center to offer help. We all became New Yorkers that day. Later, I went out for a smoke and announced to the younger folks ..."today the culture changes." We hooked up a TV in the Lobby and watched the terrible events unfold. It was a horrible, terrible, no good, very bad day. It led to tons of work for me in the weeks and months to come as we deployed hundreds and hundreds of troops to Afghanistan, Qatar, Pakistan and all the "Stan" countries, etc., etc., and later to Iraq. Pray for the innocent souls of all those we lost that day...and the troops we lost in fighting the War on Terror. God Bless America.
