About TV/DVD combo if they break?

William

I have been saving money for a new tv for a while now and I found this...

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sceptre-E245BD-FHD-24-60Hz-LED-1080p-2.6-ultra-slim-HDTV-DVD-Player/21668672

It's an good size tv for me but I have a question. If the dvd function stops working on a dvd/tv combo like this does the tv not work too?

I have heard about this happening with vcr/tvs in the past but surely they must've fixed that by now right?

Answer
It's never a good idea to buy a tv combo. Best to just buy a tv and then a blu ray. Blu rays are very cheap. And Sceptre is a junk brand. Save some more money or look around a little, many good quality tvs are on clearance now as new models will be in soon. Samsung, Sony, even Toshiba or LG. Stay away from the no name brands.
