Looking for TV with low input lag and ghosting?

We are Ano

I am looking for a 32" for my bedroom. I will mostly use it for gaming and movies. I mostly play wii, and you notice very easily if there is any form of lagg with the tv when you use it :/

Answer
The 32in size will limit some options i suggest a good LED as Plasma is best for gaming response but dont make plasmas under 42in.The samsung and Sharp even sony LEDs are great with low response time for gaming but sony is more money and I personaly dont feel worth it.The new 2012 samsung LEDs have one of the lowest lag and fastest refresh panels out.

Google best 32in gaming TV and look at the pros and cons as they will probably give you many choices.
Good Luck!

Why does my tv lag with PS3?

Q. I have just bought a brand new 55" Samsung LED 8000 series TV. I hooked up my PS3 to it via HDMI cable. When playing my games, the time difference between the time I move the analog stick to the time it shows the motion on the TV is quite long, making it hard to play. I have a tried a top of the line $150.00 HDMI cable with no difference. I tried different settings with motion blur etc. But what I think it might be is that when playing from that source it only runs a refresh rate a 60Hz, when the TV actually is capable of putting out 240Hz refresh rate. Any ideas on what to do, to help reduce lag, or eliminate it. Could there be a way or setting to change the refresh rate?
Anything to help!

Best gaming tv with low input lag!?

Q. What's the best gaming tv for 500$ or less with a low input lag and fast response time. for the screen size I can take from 32 inch to 42 inch.

Answer
Only TV's without motion blur and LAG problems are plasma.... A TV with a high refresh rate may still have a lag.. LCD and LED have these problems.... Average plasma response of a plasma is 600 hz. out of the box..

Using LG 32" LED TV as PC monitor?

Mark

We have an LG 32" LED tv with a resolution of 1920x1080

and im planning on using it as my PC monitor since my monitor got busted up.

are there any cons with using a TV as a PC monitor?

thanks 5 stars for the most detailed answer.

Answer
Generally, a TV manufacturer is 60Hz in the US and gamers prefer a higher refresh rate setting when possible. The lag time from a control input to screen reaction including the g-t-g and othe input lag is a little higher. That will vary by TV. A monitor is watching that more in its design. Also, the larger screen affects your comfortable viewing distance and angle. A TV would normally be further away in mounting, [adding: and set higher up], but that you may have control of. It is perfectly acceptable since the basic design is the same. They are both LCD panels.
It comes down to your own use and the specific TV and its setup versus your seating. If you are happy with it, it can be your permanent setup. The very early TVs design involved radiation frequencies as tube TVs and sitting close could cause damage. LCD panels are a simple filtered (color filters) light and you cannot damage your eyes by distance so it is just about a comfortable view. Screen resolution and its clarity makes a difference, and in 1080p in a 32" you might want to be only about 30 to 40 inches away from it, and mounting and setup is what it is all about.

How to fix input lag on my Sony Bravia 46"?

led tv input lag

led tv input lag image

Alan

Whenever I'm playing a fast paced such as black ops or guitar hero, the input lag delay of my HDTV seems to have a major impact on the game and how I play it. I tried plugging my ps3 into my SDTV and I had no lag whatsoever. However, I do not want to sacrifice the graphics on my HDTV. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them. Thanks.

Answer
Must be an LCD or LED TV..?? These have a slow response time, and high refresh rates are needed to help the lag or fuzzy blurr on fast motion.. (However, this can mess up movie viewing, unless turned off.) Plasma TV's do not have that problem. Very fast response time.

What is the best LED 1080p TV for gaming?

xN7 SNiiPe

I am looking for a LED TV of at least 47" that is 1080p for less than $1500. It must be at least 120hz refresh rate and does NOT need to have 3d...3d would be a plus though. What is the best TV that you know of with the shortest lag?

Answer
Either Sony or Sharp have the lowest input lag. LG and Samsung and pretty poor for gaming even on game mode.
