Best LED / LCD TV For Me?

What's currently the best option for me at the minute if I want a 22 - 28 Inch FULL HD 1080p LED TV ?
I could sway towards LCD but I am trying to upgrade to LED.
I don't want LG (bad experiences with this brand)
Preferably Samsung/Sharp/Sony. (no cheap brands)
This is for my dorm room which is quite small, I currently have a 19 inch HD but its only 720p.
And my price range is £200-450

I need to buy a new tv for my room. i want a LED tv and it has to be between 26 and 28 inches otherwise it will be too small or too big. I was wondering which out of the tv's I have found that I should buy and why. please could you also say which are the best tv brands.

if their are other tv's that fit my description and arent more expensive then £230 could you please reccommend it as well please.

LG and Toshiba are fine. Logik and Bush are crap.

Avoid the built in DVD player. They are lower end players and will eventually fail.
Save your money and buy a better TV, or a separate DVD or Blu-Ray player.

Personally, I would go buy a TV from a store rather than online.
