Here we go again.... It depends. One example is say the NS-50P650A11 50" plasma. Look on the right hand side. You'll see a sticker with the model number, then serial number, then version number. Now go look at the Samsung PN50C490B3D. Hey, the right hand side has the same sticker! Yup, you hit it right on the head. Samsung is one of the premier leaders in televisions, they make that model for best buy, so are other posters saying Samsung is junk? Next example, NS-55E560A11. 55" LED/LCD. $1300. But wait, it has a Samsung panel LTA550HJ05, $2,152.60 if you break it. Lets take even a Dynex DX-46L150A11. $600. But wait! It has a $1200 you guessed it, who's panel?.... Just for giggles lets look at the reviews. 125 reviews. 4.4 out of 5. Let's take the Insignia NS-32L450A11. 108 reviews. 4.3 out of 5? 90% of the people recommend the product to a friend. First negative review was a 4/4/4 but the reviewer gave it a 1? The first Insignia's were actually made by Sharp. Gee, is Sharp garbage too? No. The LE700UN/LE925/LE920/LE935 have 5 star ratings.Insignia is a great brand. Don't let the misinformed scare you away from a great value set! Hope this helps!

One dead Pixel on TV!!!?????

I am about to buy a 55" LED TV it is practically brand new still has plastic over the screen and is in original box but it has 1 dead pixel it is like half of the retail value but I don't know if I should get it or not, and don't think its a big deal the plasma I have now has like 20 dead pixels. Should I get it?

up to you if you can live with it. up to 5 dead pixels is acceptable by a manufacture under the warranty terms
