what does 120hz razor led mean?

licious

I am trying to decide which tv to purchase. Vizio Razor LED Smart TV or Samsung LED Smart TV. The issue is I don't know what razor led mean for the Vizio. I know 120hz CMR mean that in reality it is only 60hz for the Samsung. I would normally go for the Samsung TV because brand has been around for a very long time and it's good reputation with electronic but not really familiar with Vizio which is being considered due to many friends who have bought the TV and is happy with their purchase.

Confused 8{

Answer
That is the refresh rate for the picture. Such as a soccer game and all the action of the ball moving. A 120hz is much better than a 60hz and a 240hz is better than a 120hz. The better the refresh rate, the better the picture, but you will pay more for the higher refresh rate. 60hz is a bare bones tv and not very good with fast action scenes.. As far as comparing a Vizio to a Samsung, Vizio is made in California and Samsung is made in South Korea. Vizio cost less. It really doesn't matter which one is better. Both are excellent brands. If cost is the main deciding factor, go with the Vizio.

Which Samsung TV should i get!?

Amore

don't mind price so much, just not crazy expensive! i don't know if i should get a LED or Plasma??? and also it has to be at least 46 inch for my living room size???

Answer
Samsung UN46EH6000 46-Inch 1080p 240 CMR LED HDTV e picture is nice and sharp. Out of the box, it was set to "dynamic" color mode which I found so bright it washed out the picture. I set it to "standard" color mode, and it fits my environment just fine. If I upgrade from my yellow light bulbs to white, I may change my color settings. I haven't tried the "game" color mode yet; though, "standard" seems to work fine for the range of games I've tried on Steam, Origin, and my consoles.

what's the difference between these two LED tvs ?

Q. is there a difference between these two cuz there a slight change in their names and do u recommend buying it ?

tv number 1 : http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN40D6000SFXZA
tc number 2 : http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UA40D6000SMXXY/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&returnurl=

one has 200 cmr and the other 240cmr :/

Answer
Well one is a US model and one is an Austrailian model. In North America we are on a 60Hz system (hence 240 cmr) and in other countries they use 50Hz (hence the 200 cmr). I never recommend buying anything from the Chinese and Korean companies.

Is the Tv Samsung led 40 inch model: un40eh5000 good for video games?

Answer
Samsung UN40EH5000 40-Inch 1080p 120 CMR LED HDTV - Black is labeled as LED; then you look at the picture and see a lot of fat for the usual Samsung LED depth. Make no mistake this is an LED TV. I got this for my bedroom to replace my 23 inch Samsung Syncmaster. I use this TV mostly for 1080 mp4 movies and blurays (I download what I want to watch instead of waiting for it on cable), and my Xbox and PS3.

Looking for a new TV?

led tv cmr
on ... LED TV (100Hz CMR, SMART, Dual-Core, Wi-Fi (Dongle required)) by TV
led tv cmr image

Dinobacon

I've been searching for a new Tv and i'm having trouble finding something that i'd like. They look good but as I look at reviews from outside the site they show something that puts me off buying it. I'm a gamer and the Tv will be used mainly for that purpose. The criteria it needs to meet is, it has to be 1920x1080 HD ready, it needs to be 40inch and since i'm looking at samsungs it would need to have the ultra clear panel. It also has to be either LED or LCD. A high Hz rate is a must at least 200 and if it's samsung it would be good to have CMR. The main problem is motion blur. I need a Tv that has at least a minimal blur.

The two I've looked at are the 40" D7000 SMART 3D LED TV and the SAMSUNG UE40D6510 40" Full HD LED 3D TV - White. Both I hear have bad motion blur and the D7000 had some sort of sparkling

''The HDTV resolved around 900-1000 lines in the FPD Benchmark test chart, although the [LED Motion Plus] setting required to achieve this result did cause some slight âsparklingâ (which we presume is the result of the LCD panel being overdriven). It was far less severe than the similar noisy dithering artefacts we see on some Plasma TVs, though''.

If anyone has some advice either they have looked at these tv, know of a good tv ect.

Answer
I would go with the Samsung Dinobaco.... I have had the UE40D6510 for a couple of months and am quite pleased with it. Motion blur is very minimal in my opinion, at least compared to other TVs that I have either owned or looked at.

Is it possible to turn off the CMR (Motion flow) on Samsung HDTVs?

Ben M R Ha

Namely, this TV.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UE40C5800-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B003DNSJ0E/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40C5800QKXXU/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=specification

To be honest, I'm not really sure how it can have a '50 x 2' motion rating, without the TV being 100Hz.

Is there someone out there who knows if you can turn it off on Samsung sets?

I can't stand MotionFlow crap. Hence, the reason I wanted a 50Hz TV.

Another question I guess is, do all 100Hz TVs look as though they have MotionFlow? Is there a way to adjust it on 100Hz?

Thanks guys.

Answer
Here's a good thread: http://www.avforums.com/forums/lcd-led-lcd-tvs/1356573-samsung-ue40c5800-owners-thread.html Simply turn the refresh rate off.
