The red power light on my big screen wont stop blinking and the screen is blank and there is no sound. so its like its not even on but the power button is blinking. what is the problem?

Check your user's manual for the Troubleshooting section with regards to that blinking LED. It blinks at a rate to give you a code number. Your user's manual will give you codes for the number of blinks and what section of the TV is at fault. You can activate this program by pushing certain buttons, as called out in your manual.

I turned my tv on within 5 seconds it turned itself off. The power light is flashing.
Unplugged the tv and did an reset.
Now there is only sound no picture.
