Q. I'm looking for high quality and and longevity first and foremost, Secondly I want to play with all the cool features these things have. Please help me make a decision.

Answer
The best site for Audio video enthusiasts is Avn forums there are pros and noobs to people who install 500.000 dollar tvs yes there is a 150 in pro Panasonic that costs a half a million dollars! And Panasonic and Samsung are within 2 points of each other, the earlier Panasonics had rising black issues well documented, no tv is perfect. The best plasma is still the pro pioneer kuro, even used, and as far as Sharp its an led not plasma.A great tv but it's a full array local dimming led.I have been installing home theaters for 20 years. You get what you pay for! As better tvs have better quality materials, the consumer drove prices and quality down, everyone wants cheap tvs and to be cheap and make a profit the company's use lesser quality parts. That's a fact. For the best picture quality a plasma has natural warmly under saturated colors, as opposed to the cartoony look of leds. Some may like that look, most don't especially after seeing a good calibrated plasma.Samsung sells more tvs than any other company but panasonic makes an awesome plasma I would say without hesitation panasonic st50,gt50.and new upcoming vt50,also the samsung e8000,e7000,e5000 are great also. And whichever tv you get, have your tv Isf calibrated with a sencor analyzer for the best picture possible.About 10k for the tester alone.Worth 3-400 bucks for the job.

Has the ipod classic changed since it first came out?

Does it have the newer technology on the inside?
I am thinking about purchasing one because it has 160GB and my ipod nano 4GB is almost out of space. Is the ipod classic worth the money I will spend?

Answer
The new iPod classic comes with 160GB of storage in the same compact size, making it the take-everything-everywhere iPod. It's available in quintessential silver or striking black. iPod classic also has plenty of battery life (up to 36 hours of audio playback or 6 hours of video playback), good looks (a sleek, anodized aluminum design), and other great features (Cover Flow and Genius playlists for creating perfect playlists). You can even rent a movie from iTunes and watch it on the go.
