We finally got a new TV. We had our old CRT til now. To make sure we have a good viewing angle, the tv is placed in the corner of the room. Diagonally. The tv stand is about 45 cm in height and putting an LED tv on it in a corner looks kinda empty. Especially because there is nothing behind it. It's hard cuz you can see empty space at the back. Any ideas???
We can't really put the tv anywhere else.

Answer
I'd put nothing at all. When you actually watch the TV, you'll get hooked on the screen and forget about the space behind it very quickly.

But if you insist, the best idea is putting the TV inside a cabinet. Like this:

Or if the cabinet is too expensive, some plants can fill up the space too.

How do you know if the viewing angle of a TV is good from the specifications?

I'm trying to a buy a TV online, and I've been disappointed before because the viewing angle was really poor.

Answer
Viewing angles on LED and LCD TV's are usually fair to poor. If you want a good viewing angle, (up to 170 degrees....get a plasma.!!)
