I want to get a 30-32 inch size tv (if I can find one bigger that has a good price, I'm willing to spend more). What is the difference in an lcd vs led tv? I'm currently lookin at tvs at sears online and the local walmart. Please helpppppp!!! :) Thank you!

About 2 years ago I was in the market for a 32" LCD tv. I read all the reviews from customers who purchase a 32" LCD tv. I also looked at each tv on display at Best Buy and Costco. Panasonic had the best reviews and viewing angle. I actually purchased a 37" LCD made by Panasonic. I also have a Panasonic Plasma tv 65" 58" and a 50". I would not recommend any of those bargain price tv at all. They are not very reliable, and have a slower response time if you play video games (lag between video and audio). Also you are going to need a faster refresh rate of the 120HZ, to reduce the blur motion when watching fast action sports or playing video games. This [ast christmas, I also purchase 2 Panasonic 32" LCD 60HZ for a christmas present to my kids. Hope this will help you out.

LCD or LED TV- Is it worth the money?

I am planning on upgrading my TV and am comparing prices between the LCD and LED TVs. The price difference between the two I am looking at is about $600 for a 55". Is it worth the extra money to go with the LED?

No! Not yet at least. LED is very new technology, and is in a very early phase of its product life. There are a few reasons why you should not get an LED TV yet. First LED, being brand new, costs a lot extra (the best LED TV on the market is 55'' and costs around $4,000). Secondly, LED technology in TVs is not perfected. My prediction is that there will be vast upgrades to the technology over the next few years, as more manufacturers enter the market, (which will in turn drive the price to a more affordable range).
In conclusion, buy a nice LCD TV, there are great savings if you find the right TV, and the next time you want to upgrade, chances are that LED TV's will be the new standard, just like LCD is now.
