Are Samsung's new flat LCD and plasma TVs really freakin awesome or what?

Q. Samsung has really won me over this year and I don't usually do the whole brand thing.
God they are FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL!!!

I hope they keep up the good work.

I just saw their new commercial for the really thin TV--I've read about so many new displays the last few years that I cant even remember what the display for it was... but... if its anything like their LCDs or Plasmas... DO WANT!!!

Samsung Is World No 1 ( total Quantity sold ) TV manufacture start from 2009. there use to be no 2 after Sony. but kick out Sony end of 2008. Samsung products ( not only TV ). market worldwide. Samsung is the First TV Manufactures for LED TV. Samsung have there very own LCD display panel factory in Korea . all hi end model , display panel by own made. Samsung also joint venture with Sony to manufactures LCD display in Korea ( S-LCD display ) those low end / mid end TV model by Sony and Samsung use the same display panel by S-LCD Korea. the company also sales display panel to many other TV maker who did not made display panel. Samsung is Leading in LCD tv ( also LED ) but not Plasma. Samsung Plasma not so great compare to Pioneer ( world Best TV ) and Panasonic Plasma .Samsung Plasma display panel is out source from other. If Samsung TV with out good Quality , there can never be No 1 , kick out all other Japan TV manufactures in 5 years time. Reason is Standard model , cheap and good + reliable ,Hi End model , Excellence pictures Quality + Advance technology + Reliable + reasonable prices .

Which TV 40-42" TV should I choose ?

Ok, so I got a sales spiff from work and I get to choose a free TV from select models they have in the company "rewards store". Even knowing the differences between LCD and plasma, and reviews of the models.... I'm still not sure what I should get. This is going to go in my living room, no gaming consoles, standard light issues of a living room.

If you had to choose a TV for yourself from this list; which would you choose?

BEST Pictures Quality / prefect True colours is from Plasma TV.
Panasonic is top in Plasma TV. Samsung Plasma TV okay.
PANASONIC 42B450 model use NEW PLASMA TECHNOLOGY ! with Anti " screen burn circuit " designs, " burn in " to Plasma display is become history.life time is as good as LCD , is 60,000 hours now. less heat ( not so hot like old plasma TV ). if you want the BEST PICTURES. get Panasonic Plasma. * Samsung Plasma second choose ).
If you ONLY go for LCD . Samsung LN A serial is Quality / reliable and reasonable price ! all Samsung LCD/LED TV are Quality, if not Samsung will not hold world No 1 TV ( total quantity sold ) position!
Never never but JVC TV. Even is 1080 P ( you able to get Samsung 1080 P 40 inc in good prices ). JVC is only good in Audio. or those CRT TV from JVC is quality ! JVC LCD TV is total out ! because Panasonic total given out JVC , Panasonic sold it out and don't provide any technical support to JVC ( Panasonic kick out JVC and buy over Sanyo Japan,New Sanyo TV is under Panasonic technical support ).JVC is own by Kenwood Japan, a Audio maker ! is rename as Kenwood-JVC holding . there are good in Audio not Video ( LCD Tv ). beware of this !

For 42 inc even 720 P Plasma from Panasonic able to display better quality pictures compare to 42 inc LCD TV.because of Plasma display technology. . 0 Response time.400 HZ refresh rate.no motion blur.
Mose of the people who not sure about Plasma or LCD, wil go for LCD TV, even give them 101 good reason for Plasma !
So . if you go for LCD. 1080 P is better pictures quality in 40/42 inc , look for Samsung full HD 1080 P 40 inc model ! is will be cheap and good. ( Sony 40 inc.Sharp and Panasonic 42 inc LCD is Quality / reliable too, but prices may costs more ) .

Panasonic TH42PX77U CHEAP AND QUALITY PICTURES +RELIABLE.PREFECT CHOOSE !
