What TV is the best for BOTH picture quality and sound?

Q. Which TV utilizes the best of both picture color and surround sound?
And from what company?
A pretty decent screen size, maybe 30" or something. And An HD TV (obviously), one that can support game consoles and Blue-ray. As well as having the best possible picture and sound quality. Especially when it comes to playing games and HD channels, and so on.

I'm going to buy a 32 inch tv today. l e d seems to be more expensive for 1080p as opposed to an lcd 1080p. is it worth it to spend the extra money on the led? are there picture differences or only energy differences? Thanks for your help!

To sum everyone up. They're the same picture quality. LED tvs are lighter and more energy efficient though. Id go with the LED.
