What are the differences between a 32 in. flat screen LED and LCD tv? (And other ?s) Please read and help!?

I am looking at a couple of flat screen tvs on "One Sale a Day's" website. They have a flash sale going on so I have to act fast if I am going to purchase. I am so technologically illiterate it's not even funny! Can someone please tell me the main differences between an LED and LCD flat screen tv? The LED tvs are sold out already so I'm assuming LED is better. What will I be missing out on if I get an LCD instead of LED? There were originally two 32 in.flat screen tvs on the flash sale, both selling for $199.00 (one LCD and the other LED). The first, http://1saleaday.com/flash/ld-3235/ is sold out and the second, http://1saleaday.com/flash/vr-3225/ is still available. Does it look like a good TV? Is there any reason not to get a "refurbished" tv?

It is actual LED LCD and CCFL LCD. In other words, they are both LCDs and the difference is in the backlighting. CCFL (Fluorescent) is older. LED is typically thinner and lighter weight. The picture has higher contrast ratios and typically more uniform. Usually LED uses a little bit less electricity.
CCFL is a brighter picture. It is cheaper.
Refurbished TVs are typically the ones that broke and were fixed. The main issue is about what was fixed. Will it break again? Did they actually fix the issue? Warranty is rarely over 3 months where a 1 year is typical for new. You can buy a warranty at Squaretrade.com.

I would not have an issue with CCFL (LCD) I do have an issue with Vizio and other cheap brand refurbs. 1saleaday requires registration. I did not see the sets.

The LED is the cheaper set because it is 720p pixel definition instead of 1080p The CCFL one should have a clearer picture.
