Movies stop in midway on LG TV while watching with pendrive?

Whenever i play a movie on my "lg tv - led 32 inch" with a pen drive the movie stops at anytime.

TV makers are NOT in the video firmware business. The updates are few and far between. In their defense many torrents/downloads you get from the internet are made with a variety of different software and codex's so - they are not all the same.

Chances are - the TV will only reliably play commercial video files, not the ones you D/L from a suspicious torrent site.

I have had good luck with the small media server box's. I have the WD TV Live box and it plays nearly anything (and it connects with both USB flash drive, USB hard drive and wirelessly).

Would a 720p LED TV have a better picture than a 1080p LCD TV?

I'm looking to get a TV for college and I'm going for either a 26 or 32 inch. I know there are alot of new technologies in LED TVs and I was wondering if these technologies would give the LED an advantage over an LCD TV that is 1080p compared to the LEDs lower resolution of 720p.

any tv smaller than 42" you can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080. So get the LED because of the better technology behind it. (Low energy, deeper blacks, higher visual quality)
