Hello I have a 62 "dlp wd62327 made by mitsubishi. I am wanting to trade for a plasma on craigslist , question is would a 42 inch plasma be a good trade for my 62 "dlp? Or should I hold out for a 50"... I know walmart has new 50 inch plasmas for 800 and my tv is definetlely worth that used.Please help asap thanks

Wow...you're getting the short end of the stick here...

Personally, I would sell it using the free advertised newletter that most cities have had for years...we call ours "Peddlers Post" . It will provide you with local buyers that would pay more for a NICE TV like yours is...

And if you are selling it because it EATS LAMPS...you might just want to replace the Lamp's POWER SUPPY...also known as the Ballast.
Ballasts can eat lamps if they have lost their regulation...The TV will still function, but your lamp may need replacement every year if it's bad, or if you run it 24/7....or if you like to ON / OFF it for every TV show you watch ...or if you replace the lamp with CHEAP lamps and touch every part of the lamp with greasy/sweaty hands!

Lamps used for 40 hours a week should last 3 years...that's a total of 6000 hours, and that's what I would expect from a lamp....

NOW...your decision to purchase a Plasma TV does have it's downside. And that is BURNS on your display. Paused Games, non-moving icons in your games or the MSNBC stock quote banners, or the ESPN side bars, QVC boxes...those BURN plasma TV sets !

I'm not a big fan of Plasma for that reason.....

An alternative is Samsung's NEWER DLP TV sets with the LED LAMPS....THOSE will LAST for a long long time, and it will give you an AWESOME picture with VIBRANT color !

Check it out....and that 3-D part is a nice extra for the future..

Hello, I am putting a laptop together on bto.eu and I'm wondering if this laptop is sufficient for gaming/some photoshop use (not professional).
