about recent violence in Assam (India) because of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants?

Answer
You don't want to hear what we think of the persecution meted out to the Bengali speaking Indian citizen who are Muslim.

Your Indian government and your press (printing and electronic media) are not unbiased source to get a fair information. Read international newspaper or magazines or listen to BBC World news on TV and Radio and get to know the truth. Indians are too patriotic to think that their government or majority Hindus can and is doing anything wrong, and always portray themselves as 'victim' at the hand of minority innocent people who can barely manage three square meals, let alone doing subversive acts inside India.

I am not suggesting at all that Indian minorities in many places like Kashmir and Assam and such North-Eastern states are not fighting against the Indian government to gain some autonomy, if not outright freedom from Indian clutches.

What happened is that India has been fighting with Pakistan for over 60 years now and its citizens are as hostile as the Pakistani citizen against each others. This frenzy has led them to believe that all the neighbors of India (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in particular) are always conspiring to destabilize her, which is contrary to the fact as we all know how the RAW of India is doing the jobs similar to CIA of USA and ISI of Pakistan are doing to destabilize its neighbors.

We have illegal Indians living in Bangladesh those are Hindus as well as Muslims, by the way.

Hope your rational thinking would one day let you find the true nature of geopolitics India is playing to assert its Superpower status in this region. Please do not add fuel to the fire and be instrument to the genocide happening in India since 1947 where both Hindu and Muslims ordinary citizens are the real victim.

The present government in Bangladesh led by Sheikh Hasina of Awami League is most friendly and cooperative to the Indian leaders and its government. If you have to cry wolf now then what will happen when the Anti-Indian party BNP would come to power in next general election of 2013, given the mood of the people who are fed-up with the performance of AL who are ruling heavy-handed with people and showing servitude attitude towards its savior India, that would not be available so easily if BNP comes to power. Therefore, as the adage goes "Make hay while the sun shines" and don't start shadow boxing at least till the tenure of AL ends and bungle India's chance to win Bangladeshi peoples' hearts and minds with false and fabricated propaganda those are inciting riots in India.

If you really wants to know what we feel about your mentioned query then I would advise you to read the following newspaper: www.weeklyholiday.net/

Hope above helps.

how does advance technology affect the supply of good or service?

Alicia

Answer
Advanced technology has made technically ever more sophisticated equipment available to us and the trend can be expected to continue. in many ways the goods are improving, sometimes dramatically (TV) but they mostly have a lifetime (with reasonably careful use) of around 4 to 7 years; then you need some service.

Sadly technology has also led to the virtual extinction of service notwithstanding that companies have telephone numbers for their service departments. If you try to actually obtain service from most suppliers or manufacturers (those for cars are a rare, surviving exception) you will be encounter so much difficulty that you will sooner or later give up and replace the whole product, which is actually the idea. You cannot even do the service yourself because technology has so sealed up or encapsulated the defective device that it is totally inaccessible and will be destroyed by any attempt to open it. Thus you will have to throw out a perfectly good razor only because the charger has failed!

For example - today's standard service - you try to contact the service department of a company! You will either get no answer, a little girl (she may be quite tall but sounds little) will promise to call you back but won't or you will be received by a recorded voice which asks you interminable questions and conducts you through a maze of criteria in which you make entries and choices by pushing numbers, and finally either leaves you hanging with some music (if you're lucky) or simply cuts you off so that you can start again. In such cases there is in fact no service at all, only the machine or the little girl who knows nothing about the company or any of its products.

Another (only a little less common) variant is the outsourced service. For some reason a company thinks it must offer some show of support (e.g. for software) so it sets up a telephone answering and technical support team in India (they seem to speak English and are very cheap). The staff will answer even your local call and they will be excessively polite and "helpful" to the point of complete frustration but in the end are totally incompetent. You will be led round different kinds of loop, e.g. trying to make direct contact into your PC, which after a half hour of fruitless tries has to be given up like all further attempts to understand, diagnose or fix your problem.

This is modern service - none at all! Ask for a service demo. before you buy anything expensive!
